Awards & Recognition
University of Central Missouri alumni and donors have done, and are doing, some amazing things! We are proud to recognize individuals through the following award programs.
Established in 1991, Central Missouri’s Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes former athletes and supporters for their achievements and commitment to UCM Athletics. Inductees are chosen from two eras: an early era covering 30 or more years prior to the year of selection and a modern era covering a period between five and 30 years prior to the year of selection.
Since 1978, the UCM Alumni Foundation has presented the Distinguished Alumni Awards annually to recognize outstanding University of Central Missouri graduates who are esteemed by their peers as "the brightest and most distinguished" in their field.
The Founding Philanthropist Award, and its signature red blazer, is bestowed upon select individuals who have contributed above and beyond the minimum requirement of their Founders Society membership. Established in 2021, the award is the highest honor a member UCM's Founders Society can receive. By means of their generosity, these individuals have truly transformed the lives of UCM students and created opportunities for them beyond what they imagined possible.
