The UCM Alumni Foundation hosts events throughout the year for alumni and friends to gather and network in celebration of our shared affinity for UCM. When attending events you will connect with generations of Mules and Jennies while learning about what's happening at our beloved university today and how you can get involved. Check out upcoming events and learn more about UCM's signature events below.
The UCM Alumni Foundation offers a wide range of regional MuleNation events across the country as well as on-campus gatherings for alumni and friends to stay involved and connected to UCM. We hope you will join us at an upcoming event!
Central Missouri’s first annual Homecoming was a silver jubilee held Nov. 5, 1935, in honor of Eldo Hendricks. It featured a convocation during which alumni reminisced about Hendricks’ 25 years of service, plus a halftime presentation where the president and his wife received 25 silver dollars.
The Homecoming parade is truly one of UCM's most popular traditions. It’s always a colorful feast for the eyes, bringing the campus and local communities together to enjoy the Marching Mules, floats, equestrian units, dignitaries, area organizations, businesses, regional high school bands and UCM's very own mule mascot.
At Homecoming each year, UCM honors alumni who are celebrating their 10th, 25th and 50th reunions.
UCM was founded on April 27, 1871. Each year we celebrate with a week of activities ranging from a campuswide picnic on the quad to a birthday party at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee's Summit to an exclusive donor recognition dinner called An Evening of Appreciation.
Family Week is a fun-filled time on campus, complete with a color run, Mule Team Family Association pancake breakfast, Mules Football Family Weekend game and more!
