Billy Ukrazhenko was named Assistant Athletic Director/ Director of Development for UCM in 2021. In this role he focuses on major gifts, estate gifts, and coordinating strategic events for UCM Athletics and affinity groups, such as Greek life.
Billy joined UCM after serving in a similair role at Emporia State University (ESU). In his four years with ESU, Billy and his foundation colleagues fostered incredible growth, highlighted by a record years in fundraising for student financial support as well as new facilities such as the Kossover Family Tennis Complex, Schallenkamp Hall, Prophet Aquatic Research Center, and the Abigail Morse Hall renovation. Prior to his role at ESU, Billy was the Operations Coordinator for four years at Sam Houston State University. Under the guidance of Ed Chatal, he led all logistics and operations of the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum. This included over 150 athletic/university events in a calendar this year, assisting five athletic teams daily, and overseeing a $13 million renovation to the facility.
Billy is from Clay Center, Kansas and is a graduate of both Kansas State University (BS- Kinesiology) and Sam Houston State University (MA-Kinesiology, Sport Management).
