Growing up in rural community near Warrensburg, Jackie Jackson always knew she wanted to attend UCM. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration in 2009 and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration in 2012. In 2023 she completed her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership in Higher Education at Abilene Christian University, publishing her research titled Alumni Giving from Online Learners: A Logistic Regression Study.
Jackson began at the UCM Alumni Foundation as director of annual giving in April 2018, after serving in similar roles at two other institutions of higher education. In 2020 she moved into the role of Associate Vice President of University Advancement. She says, "I couldn't think of a better opportunity than to come back to my alma mater and work with alumni to secure much-needed support for current students. The kind of education that UCM offers prepared me for a fulfilling career and continues to do the same for students. I feel lucky to be a part of it now."
Jackson is married to Aaron, a 2023 graduate of UCM, and they have a young daughter who intends to be a future Jennie.
