Kathy Henson

Kathy Henson joined the UCM Alumni Foundation team in February of 2023. A longtime resident of Warrensburg, Kathy has served in varying roles in the community, including preschool teacher, office administrator at Johnson County Christian Academy and HR assistant with the City of Warrensburg. Now some of her former preschool and elementary students are UCM alumni! Kathy enjoys working in a supportive role on an active team and meeting new people.

Kathy earned her Bachelor or Arts degree in English with a Business Administration minor from the University of Texas at Arlington. She and her husband, Kerry (CIS faculty emeritus), moved to Warrensburg in 1992 when he took a position at CMSU. They have two grown children living in the greater Kansas City area. Kathy enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
